Logic Models
Mar. 22, 2012 -Terrell W. Zollinger, DrPH, Professor and Director of Epidemiology and Environmental Health Division, IUSM Department of Public Health, and Associate Director, Bowen Research Center will lead participants through logic modeling, including the uses and development of models.
Impulsivity and Risk-Taking
Feb. 28, 2012 -Melissa A. Cyders, Ph. D., HSPP, Licensed Clinical Psychology and Health Service Provider in Psychology, Assistant Professor in Department of Psychology at the IUPUI School of Science. This course explains impulsive behavior and what are its major causes. Dr. Cyders discusses her research on why people engage in risky behaviors and suggest potential interventions.
HPV Epidemiology/Natural history
Oct. 27, 2011 - Darron R. Brown, MD, is a Professor of Medicine in Microbiology and Immunology and discusses HPV and its effects on public health practice. This course features HPV knowledge assessments, interactive data reports of HPV and up-to-date preventative vaccine research.
Motivational Theory & Practice
Nov. 29, 2011 - Steve Reed, MHA, FACHE, is the featured faculty in this course discussing leading management theories and their 'real world' applications. Learn some motivational theories and how impacts your employees along with tips on making your organization more effective!
