Check out the Institute on Medicine of the National Academies' website on public policy,  http://www.iom.edu/CMS/3716.aspx.  This page contains links to current projects, events, and reports concerning public policy.  A variety of issues are featured, including small pox vaccination strategies, insurance coverage, and vaccine financing.

The American Public Health Association (APHA) has an extensive advocacy area on their website.  The Advocacy index page can be found at

The National Association of City and Council Health Administrators (NACCHO) focuses their advocy efforts on local health departments.  Check out

The Association of State and Territory Officials (ASTO) also offers advocacy resources.  A great selection of yearly fact sheets is available at
