Effectively communicating your message can be a challenge.  From advertising a program to promoting behavior change, there are many tools and actions that can yield positive results.

Kate Nicholson, MA and Carole Kacius, PhD. from the IU School of Medicine Department of Public Health will take participants through the steps of creating a communications plan, including analysing the situation, audience segmentation, behavior change objectives, strategic planning, message briefs, management, and evalution.

This course will follow A Field Guide to Designing A Health Communication Strategy by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/Center for Communication Programs.
